Curly Weaves Are In For Fall!

by Lexi Felder, LexiWithTheCurls.com

The reality is, most celebrities have natural hair. Celebrity stylists will tell you the majority of their clients are natural underneath their extensions. Extensions are great for celebrities because someone is constantly doing different things to their hair, which can cause damage. This makes this protective style the go-to choice for your favorite singer or actress.
In the past, there was a trend of celebs wearing straight or wavy extensions, but now—kinky hair is in! Let’s take a look at the hottest celebrities who rock kinky curly weave:

Brandy
Brandy has been rocking the cutest kinky-curly extensions. They have everyone going to the salon with her picture in tow.  Brandy go-to protective style when she first came out was braids. Big hair looks great on her!

Kelly Rowland
We have recently seen Kelly Rowland around Hollywood with these fabulous tightly coiled extensions. It looks great on her and is something different from the short crop we grew up seeing her in.

Serena Williams
Tennis superstar Serena every now and then rocks curly extensions. Extensions are great for a person who is athletic and will be sweating or if they just need a break. (Ladies, don’t let your hair get in the way of your health.)

Marsha Ambrosius
Marsha has been transitioning back to natural recently. After being on another journey back to natural, she has been seen rocking curly weave. Perfect for someone transitioning because it mimics her hair texture.

Tika Sumpter
The newest “It Girl” Tika Sumpter can be seen on “Sparkle” rockin’ cute wigs and even an afro. Here she shows off big curly extensions that would make even Diana Ross jealous.

I don’t know about you all, but I am so happy with this shift. We no longer are stuck to just rocking straight and loose wavy texture. We are rocking textures that mimic our hair, which is a whole lot easier to blend. Trust me ladies, if you want extensions,  go for the texture like your own.
