The Curl Presents: The Pompadour

                                                                              "THE CURL"
an original web series for Carol's Daughter's Transitioning Movement

The pompadour: a timeless, quick hairstyle that can easily be transitioned from the workplace to a night out on the town.  In this episode of "The Curl", we present the history and easy guide to achieve the style, while some of your favorite natural hair bloggers, including Fran of Hey Fran Hey, Cipriana of Urban Bush Babes, Franchesca Ramsey of Chescalocs and Shanti & Antoinette of Around the Way Curls share their candid and often hilarious hair stories.

"THE POMPADOUR": SUGGESTED HAIRSTYLING TIPS & THE BEST HAIR CARE PRODUCTS

1. Begin by straightening and smoothing your hair using the Chocolat Smoothing Collection to achieve a blow out or wet set. To help really soften and straighten your hair while protecting it from heat styling damage, use the Macademia Heat Protection Serum on damp hair before blowing dry or setting.

2. Using the Macadamia Hold & Control Smoother, rub your palms together to warm it up and begin smoothing down the sides of your hair. Proceed with the video's directions. Start with a little Smoother, and add more as needed for smooth edges and volume.

Styling Tip: To get extra volume, you can slide a flat iron straight up when using it and be sure to apply a little of the Macadamia Hold & Control Smoother at your roots.

You'll love your Pompadour, plus you'll have the healthier, stronger hair.
